How to Remove Terminals From the Connector?

Every connector is a bit different from the other. So removing terminals from your connectors might be a bit different in your case. However, as every connector has a snap plastic closure, this technique will work for you with slight modifications.

Things you need:

1. T-pin – a special pin to help you remove connections (a screwdriver might work too)
2. Connector (for removing terminal)

Process:

1. Before disconnecting any cables from the terminals, make sure to take a picture. It will tell you how the connections exist, so you will have no problems connecting the wires again. It is usually helpful when you have more than one wire.
2. Now remove the plastic casing over the terminal, usually over every connector, to provide strength and security.
3. Locate the point where each of the wires is locked with the connector. Put the t-pin or screwdriver at that point and push the plastic casing to release the lock. Your terminal will come out easily.
4. And you have removed your terminal from the connector; wasn't it super easy?
